Wuhou Shrine Tickets in Chengdu: How to Book & What to Know
Planning a visit to Chengdu’s Wuhou Shrine? You can’t just show up at the gate — this historic complex uses a real-name reservation system. But getting your Wuhou Shrine tickets is simple once you know the two ticket types and how to book them. This guide covers what each ticket includes, reservation steps, and entry requirements, so you can skip the logistics and focus on exploring.

Wuhou Shrine Tickets: Two Zones, Two Reservation Types
Wuhou Shrine runs on a “reserve, stagger, and limit” crowd-control system, meaning every visitor enters on a booked time slot. You’ll pick between two ticket types:
- Cultural Relics Area ticket (paid) — 50 yuan full price / 25 yuan half price. This is the main event: the ancient shrine complex.
- West Area & Jinli ticket (free) — Covers the West Area and Jinli Ancient Street only.
Both ticket types can be reserved up to 7 days in advance. Each phone number can book up to 10 tickets of each type per day — plenty even if you’re traveling with a big group.
Pro tip: Buy the Cultural Relics Area ticket and you don’t need a separate Jinli reservation — your order number gets you into all three zones.
Booking is done through the official WeChat account or the website at www.wuhouci.net.cn — both are simple and take just a couple of minutes.
